How it works

Step 1

Scan curated sessions. Tiles reveal playtime and a one-line dev note on hover.

Step 2

Tap to reveal a playable clip and metadata. No cropping; art is preserved with letterbox frames.

Step 3

Leave a note or contact the creator. A small loader and toast confirm the action without leaving the page.

Why we built this

AbyssPlay is a curated showcase built for players who crave strange, bold, and thoughtful play. We assemble short sessions, playable trailers, and developer annotations into compact vignettes you can scan in seconds or linger in for hours. Navigation is purposely kinetic: sweeping headers pulse on hover, HUD badges reveal metadata, and asymmetric grids suggest discovery paths rather than menus.

“A compact way to discover odd, brilliant prototypes — every tile is an invitation rather than an instruction.”
